10 Easy Campfire Recipes

Camping is one of our family’s favorite summer activities! It gets us outside, it’s fun, and it’s a great bonding experience. Plus, it’s super frugal when compared to other types of vacations. Campsites and state parks are generally pretty inexpensive and we leave our entertainment to the great outdoors.

One of the most fun and adventurous parts about camping is figuring out what to eat and how to cook it. Of course lots of campers have little kitchens or you could bring along a portable stove, but if you really want to get into it, you can challenge yourself to make everything over an open flame: your campfire! Tell stories and sing songs while you’re cooking to make it extra memorable.

Here are some of my favorite easy recipes that can be cooked right at your campsite over your campfire.
